As a student, you need to budget your money properly with all of your expenses from school, given with all of the activities and projects you’re loaded with. And, of course, you also buy presents for your friends, family, and other loved ones.
Now, how about yourself? You’d also want to buy something for yourself or eat somewhere, and give time for yourself or bond with your friends. So, if you want to eat somewhere with a nice ambiance, budget-friendly, and a delicious meal that is served while still sizzling-hot – you don’t need to worry anymore, and plan out when to visit Block 8!
Block 8 Grill and Sizzling House is located at Naic, Cavite. If you’re from Tanza, then you’re just an hour and a half away! A trip that is more than an hour may be tiring, but once you get there, your tiredness will be washed away once you have a taste of their steaming hot soup. Their soup is served as you wait for your ordered food.
As we wait for our meals, we took a look around the restaurant. Tables are mostly for four people and there are also for eight. The ambiance is nice and comforting, with their music and decorations. The place is also air conditioned. Aside from that, the crew were also very friendly and approachable!
The eight of us had different foods. Just the sound of sizzling sisig and the steam of it right before you is already hard to resist. Most of us ordered the ones with unlimited rice, which cost us only 99 pesos! We had pork sisig, chicken sisig, and chicken barbecue for lunch! Alongside our meals are iced and red tea, and halo-halo.
After one round, others asked for another cup of rice, up to their third round! After having some of their sizzling dishes, one cannot stop easily from eating and cannot resist the urge to have more rice!
On the other hand, Block 8 also has “Eat all you can” buffet every Sunday. You must remember the following rules; Price is per person. Second, No sharing. There is also no takeouts. And lastly, no leftovers! Or else, you’ll have to pay PhP 100 per 200 grams.
We all went home with our stomachs full and satisfied. We had no leftovers and we all enjoyed having lunch at Block 8. We will never forget the taste of the sizzling dishes we had. We will definitely come back for another round!
For the past two years, the radio broadcasting teams of Tanza National Comprehensive High School were down the list of the winners. Although the past team’s production were praised and was told them that it’s a “nice one”, only one of the members got to notch a place – only the anchor got the 3rd place, to be exact.
